I know I'm a little late posting these pictures from Christmas. We left for Mexico the day after and I had no Internet all week. To be honest.....I didn't miss it much. Surprising huh? I actually enjoyed having a lillte break from all the things that take alot of my time. My phone didn't work all week either and it was nice.
Christmas Eve was wonderful. We went to my parents for some appetizers. We had a program and enjoyed seeing everyone. We went home so we could enjoy Christmas morning at our new house. Usually we stay the night at Grammie and Grampy's but this year we did it differently.
Here is what Rowie wanted to leave Santa and his Reindeer for snacks. Chicken for the Reindeer ans starbursts for Santa. Funny huh?
Heres a Nielsen tradition.....you wait in line youngest to oldest before you go see what Santa has left. They use to line up in the hallway, we used the stairs.
Rowan was so happy to see his Geo Trax Airport that he wanted
Lia was happy too....she loved feeding her baby
Loren got a stocking of all his favorite goodies and protein bars. Hobbnobs are the best! You have to try there oaty salty chocolately goodness

Rowan had so much fun playing with his toys that he fell asleep outside our bedroom door while we were getting ready for the day.
Christmas day we went to Lorens parents and enjoyed their company as well. Ron and Luanne hosted a very fun Mexican Christmas Party. We ate tamales, tostadas, quesadillas, pasole....you name it, we ate it.
The girls got Mexican hair bows to wear
The boys got cute pins
They even decorated the house with a Mexican flair
We played games and had a great time. My team won because we made the tallest tower out of marshmallows and spaghetti
We all had a blast and enjoyed Christmas this year. We especially enjoyed the time we got to spend with our loved ones. Happy New Year everyone!

How fun! I love the picture of Rowie sleeping outside your room. How about lunch this Wednesday? Are you guys free?
I love Hobnobs! They are the best treat ever! I'll have to ask Santa to bring me some for my stocking next year. Or I could just go and buy some. ;] Looks like you had a fun Christmas!
